Level
1&2
This course is for ESL students who have no or very
few English language skills. Emphasis is on oral skills
and visual reinforcement. Students who have minimal
English language skills will be introduced to reading,
writing, and math skills
Level 3&4
This course is the beginning level for students who
are familiar with the printed and written alphabet,
but have minimal ability to use English and high-beginning
level students who need more practice with English skills.
This course includes practice in listening, speaking,
reading, and writing on an advanced beginning level.
Level 5&6
This course is for low-intermediate students who need
practice and expansion of their communication skills
and moves to high-intermediate ESL students who have
learned basic survival skills, but who need instruction
that will lead to a relatively sophisticated level of
discourse of issues and ideas that reach beyond basic
survival. It includes practice in listening, speaking,
reading, and writing English. |
