Pest Management Recertification
Pesticide Applicator Recertification Training includes core phase, phase I (categories 3, 5, 6), and phase II (categories 7, 8) recertification training. Training includes: 1) the general format and terminology of the pesticide label and labeling; 2) pesticide safety; 3) potential environmental consequences of the use and misuse of pesticides; 4) pest biology, habits and recognition, and the recognition of pest damage; 5) pesticide, formulations and their characteristics; 6) equipment types, maintenance and calibration; 7) application techniques; and 8) laws and regulations. These trainings fulfill the accreditation requirement for State-Approved continuing education units (21 hours) for individuals who need Pesticide Applicator Recertification.

ServSafe® Food Safety Program for Managers

Commerical food operation managers must be Certified!
Learn about the most recent FDA codes and food safety regulations. Get essential information from ServSafe 6th Edition (textbook is included in the cost of this training).

COST: $179 per Person
This 2-day training session is an exam preparation course.You must
attend both dates in the same month. The ServSafe Exam will be proctored directly after the 2nd day of training from Noon - 2:00 p.m. You
may pick up your textbook and preparation materials up to a week prior
to the 1st day of class.

Online Exam Registration: Participants must register at www.servsafe.com to receive a login ID and password prior to the first day of class.

AB 1825 and AB 2053 Sexual Harassment Trainings

California is one of three U.S. states that set the standard for sexual harassment training and unlawful harassment prevention. California state law AB1825, under the California Fair Employment and Housing Commission, mandates all organizations with 50 or more employees provide sexual harassment training to all supervisors. An employer must provide two hours of sexual harassment training, in the content specified in section 7288.0, subdivision (c), once every two years.

Programmable Logic Controller

Each training provides individuals theory and hands-on experience with PLCs. There are four levels, each advancing in understanding of PLCs. Trainings include:

I. INTRODUCTION TO PLCS:

  • Principles & applications of electrical motor and equipment control techniques
  • Ladder logic diagrams, contactors, motor starters and electronic controls and sensors

II. MICROLOGIX 1000:

  • Terminology, basic skills & technical exposure to PLCs
  • Programming methods & operation of PLCs

III. SLC 500:

  • Terminology, hardware configuration, programming methods, and operation of SLC 500 platform.
  • Hands-on experience developing projects, including PLC controlled Variable Frequency Drive that monitors a 3-phase motor

IV. COMPACTLOGIX 5000:

  • CompactLogix architecture, hardware configuration, programming methods, operation, and industrial communication protocols
  • Convert SLC 500 system to CompactLogix 5000
  • Hands-on experience troubleshooting, configuring remote I/O modules, and sharing data between PLCs
